Our vision is to represent Jesus as a loving community that meets needs, builds relationships, and matures Christians.  This page will provide opportunities to get involved and updates/progress reports after projects have been completed.  There is also a Local Missions messaging group in the Catalyst App if you'd like to join.  If you have any questions, please email missions@catalyst302.com and a team member will get back to you.
Mission Trip Prayers and Donations
We have a team of 12 people traveling to Black Mountain, North Carolina this July to share the love of Christ by assisting with disaster relief efforts.  Please start to pray for this trip now, asking that doors would be opened and lives would be changed.  If you feel led to donate towards the expenses of this trip, you can give online or put cash/check donations in the offering basket on Sunday mornings.
Operation: Care-Wear
Catalyst often partners with Sunday Breakfast Mission, a ministry that has been serving the greater Wilmington area for over 130 years. They are currently in need of undershirts, underwear, and socks of all sizes for men and women experiencing homelessness.  Donations can be brought to the Wilmington campus anytime between now and Mother's Day.  Let's help re-stock their supply so they can continue to be a light for the gospel in our community.

Jesse and I recently attended the work day at Urban Promise. We joined Tom Thomas and volunteers from other organizations and worked together to rake leaves, clean up large branches, and sweep outside the elementary school to create a safe space for the children and help their garden projects grow. Other tasks at the school included changing HVAC filters, clearing gutters, and weather-sealing windows. Another group of volunteers stayed at the main location and helped set up for the school's homecoming banquet that night. After our work was done, we got to meet with 3 students/street leaders (those who work in the camps and after school programs) to hear their testimony of how God is using them through the ministry of Urban Promise. The experience was very rewarding and we can't wait to go back!     - Megan
