"Unity is not uniformity. Disagreement and debate are healthy expressions of faith when they happen within Christian unity."
- Pastor Bill Yomes
We believe the Bible is God’s divine instruction to humanity. We believe it is true, trustworthy, and the supreme authority for our lives.
We believe there is one and only one true God. He is the personal, all-loving, all-powerful, all-knowing Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has revealed Himself to us as a trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe human beings are a special creation of God, made in His image, and therefore possess dignity and freedom and are worthy of respect. Using the free will given by God, humanity disobeyed God’s instructions, which brought sin into the world. Because of this, man is now in need of rescue, redemption, and restoration of their relationship with God.
We believe salvation is offered to all who trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord. This will involve repentance, faith, and new spiritual life. A result of salvation is ongoing growth in the faith. It will culminate in an afterlife spent in the blessing of God’s presence.
We believe the Church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers who choose to worship, work, and grow together.
