Catalyst was started in 1951by a group of families. Back then, these families imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. Catalyst hosted its first gathering that same year.

We want to be the best Catalyst for spiritual growth in the greater Wilmington area. Our desire is to grow both our church and our people to make a generational impact in our community.
