Ministries at catalyst

Catalyst Kids

At Catalyst, our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. We offer Nursery, Toddler, Pre-K, and Elementary classes during the Sunday morning service each week. The safety of the kids in our church family is a priority, so all volunteers working with the children must pass a background check. All children must also be checked in before they are dropped off to class.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email Lucie, our elementary kids minister or email Tara, our early childhood kids director.

Remix Youth Ministry

Remix is the youth ministry (6th through 12th grade) of Catalyst and meets on Sunday nights at 6pm. Remix operates on a simple but direct mission statement: "Come as you are, just don't stay that way." A typical youth night will include worship, teaching, games, small group discussions, and more than a little bit of laughter. Our students also regularly do events like pool parties, scavenger hunts, day trips, and go to summer camp each year. There's always something exciting going on at Remix.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email Tyler, our student minister. He'll be happy to help!

Shift Young Adults

Shift is the ministry group designed to support young adults (ages 18-26) as they navigate the significant transition from high school to college/trade school and into the workforce. Through a combination of practical guidance, spiritual encouragement, Bible study, and fellowship, Shift aims to help students and young professionals make informed decisions about their future paths.

If you have any questions or concerns about Shift, please email Tyler, our student minister.

Catalyst Worship Team

The worship team at Catalyst is comprised of vocalists, musicians, and technicians who work together to make our worship services as excellent and engaging as possible. Whether you are singing and playing on the stage, or supporting the sound, screens, and streams from the back, you'll be part of a team that seeks to use their time, talents, and creativity to serve Christ.

If you are interested in learning more about our worship ministry, email Melanie, our worship minister.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. CR helps with more than just drug and alcohol addiction; in fact, only 1 in 3 participants come to address addiction.  Others seek recovery from the effects of codependency, eating disorders, depression, and more. Let us know how we can help you.

CR meets every Monday night at Catalyst at 6:15pm for a light supper, and the program begins at 7pm. If you have any questions about CR, please email Deb, our CR ministry leader.

Men's Fraternity

Men's Fraternity is the ministry for men at Catalyst. They meet together on the first Wednesday night of each month for a 'man-tastic teaching' with Pastor Bill, and on the third Saturday of the month for breakfast at a local restaurant. Our men also serve in various positions at Catalyst and do service-based projects in our community. The journey of manhood is not to be taken lightly or alone.

If you have questions about Men's Fraternity, please email Gerry, our men's ministry leader.

Woven Ladies Ministry

Woven is the ministry for the ladies of Catalyst. They meet together on the second Wednesday night of each month for a time for food, teaching, and discussion. They also take trips and attend conferences together. The ladies of Catalyst are welcoming and unassuming. Everyone is welcome, period.

If you have questions about Woven, please email Letha, our ladies' ministry leader.

Communications Ministry

Communication is the lifeblood of any organization.  Catalyst sends emails and texts as well as web and in-app content. We need writers, editors, and graphic designers that can help us keep our family informed and organized. We need creatives that can help us keep our content clean, polished and well written.

If you have questions about Communications, please  email Donna,  our security ministry leader.

Security Ministry

Shepherds keep the sheep. At Catalyst, we take this seriously and want our church family to be safe and secure every time they visit our Wilmington Campus. Keeping people safe also includes responding to medical needs. This is why our security team also includes medical professionals who respond to any medical needs that may arise during services and events.

If you have questions about Security, please  email Gary, our security ministry leader.
